How Nia became a superhost
Born and raised in the jungle, Nia could only have dreamed about her current life as a surfing teacher and welcoming AirBNB host. After leaving her home island Sumatra, she studied Economic Management and started working on the bank. She quickly realised this was not the job wanted to do for the rest of her life. On her journey to discover her passion, she landed a job in real estate. Eventually, she rented the Ungasan House and started her own paradise here. With a clear design, great amenities, and most of all a lot of love and passion, she started redesigning the house and Nia Surf House was born. It didn’t take very long until the rooms started to fill up with satisfied guests and Nia became a superhost on AirBNB.

What makes Nia such a great host is her everlasting smile, sincere care for her guests, passion for surfing and teaching, eye for detail, and business mind. She will always do everything to make your stay or surfing class as valuable as possible. She’s the kind of surfing teacher that sends you messages weeks later to ask how your surfing is doing and gives you advice about what beaches to go to all the time. She’s the kind of host that joins you during lunch to ask about your love life and your family. She’s the kind of person you will not easily forget.

Obviously, in her spare time, Nia likes to go surfing. Sometimes for just an hour, other days she’s in there for over six hours. You will also find her in a club every now and then and there’s a big chance she’ll invite you to join her and her friends.
